Playas del Coco (Long. 85.7° W; Lat. 10.6°N) is one of the largest commercial centers of the beaches of Guanacaste. Located in the Tropical Dry Forest of the North Pacific Region year round temperatures average 82°F (28°C). The two seasons—rainy (May-Oct) and dry (Dec-Mar) are separated by the transition months of Apr and Nov.
